About Dorothy Daub

Dorothy Daub works primarily with gold and platinum, diamonds and precious colored stones on one-of-a-kind pieces.

She enjoys the process of working closely and creatively with clients to produce work that reflects each of their individuality. Skilled in both commercial and classic artistic techniques, Dorothy creates unique designs
of high-quality craftsmanship.

From a family of fine jewelers based in Philadelphia for almost 100 years, Dorothy earned her BFA degree from Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts) and studied design and metalworking with the
renowned silversmith and jeweler Olaf Skoogfors.

As a studio jeweler, she has shown her work in fine craft galleries in New York and Philadelphia, and she has won both regional and national design awards. She also lectured and taught metal smithing for fourteen years at Bucks County Community College, where she developed the jewelry program in the Fine Arts Department. Dorothy’s work is in both corporate and private collections.
